We have partnered with a highly profitable and growth centric syndicate to find them a Pricing Actuary focusing on both Reinsurance and direct business. This is great opportunity to help the Chief Actuary and Head of pricing expand the offering to a high calibre group of Underwriters through case pricing, building rating tools and portfolio steering. The role is broad but includes:
- Creating the best pricing models technology has to offer with the support of some super star actuaries. - Collaborating with the broader business, working closely with underwriters, senior management, finance, claims, business planning and reserving functions. - Huge input into risk selection and market navigation. - Providing case pricing support across various classes of business and building strong relationships with underwriting teams. - Peer-reviewing work for juniors and contributing to business transformation projects. - Staying updated on industry best practices, new initiatives, and regulatory changes.
