Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client Support Services team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Witham. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Within this role you will be predominantly focused on areas such as Excess of Loss, Treaty - Proportional/Pro-rata and Accounts and Settlement; however, similar experience in a relevant field will also be considered.

You will work with Reinsurance professionals across Witham, London, Mumbai, and Birmingham with experience and technical knowledge.

You will gain significant experience of working within a technical capacity for a Broker and be part of a global business that works with clients of all sizes to define, design, and deliver innovative solutions to better quantify and manage risk.

We will rely on you to: Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums, and claims. Manage all XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps. Promote, build, and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets. Participate in training sessions, and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting. What you need to have: Insurance/Reinsurance experience and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector. Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Willingness to learn. Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations. What makes you stand out: Excess of Loss, Treaty - Proportional/Pro-rata and Accounts and Settlement. Reinsurance Claims experience. Experience of working in a technical capacity for a Broker. Experience of using London Market systems such as ECF and LORS.
