Our client, a leading investment bank, is seeking a Relationship Manager to join their team and play a key role in their growth and expansion plans. As a Relationship Manager, you will work closely with the team head in developing new relationships within different asset classes, including M&A, IG, and PF. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with UK domestic and European businesses, with an expanding focus on the Chinese market. Key Responsibilities:
Work with the team head to identify and bring on board qualifying business opportunities. Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in syndicated loans and underwriting transactions. Prepare credit applications and present them to credit committees. Monitor clients' portfolios, conduct financial analysis, and ensure compliance with financial covenants. Collaborate with various departments to manage credit risk and meet regulatory requirements. Stay up to date with market trends in international business, particularly in the UK and European corporate banking market. Complete other tasks as required by the Deputy Head / Head of Corporate Banking. Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in banking or related finance industry. Solid credit management experience within Corporate Banking. Good understanding of corporate financing activities and products. Working knowledge of EU Syndicated Loans. Ability to build effective relationships and work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with financial modelling skills. Strong attention to detail, including the ability to interpret legal clauses and loan documentation.
