Senior Reliability Lead Engineer Monday to Friday, Permanent 55,000 per annum plus bonus The Senior Reliability Lead is responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality, reliability, and safety of all electrical and control systems within our clients production facilities. The role is compiled of 3 key factors - preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement. Role responsibilities Help lead, mentor, and develop a skilled maintenance team , in systems knowledge for both mechanical and electrical disciplines. Provide comprehensive training to technicians, enhancing their skills and capabilities in both mechanical and electrical areas. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations and company policies for electrical control systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment reliability and uptime. Lead reactive maintenance efforts, ensuring any breakdowns are resolved safely and quickly to minimize downtime. Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly Source of loss meetings to identify actions and projects to improve equipment efficiency in line with site efficiency targets and challenges. Implement continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance system performance and product quality. Qualifications and requirements Degree, HND, HNC in Electrical Engineering or related subject and/or relevant experience within an engineering, project or maintenance-based environment Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the FMCG or manufacturing industry Proven experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial control systems. Familiarity with Idhammar CMMS or similar maintenance management systems. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement methodologies. Leadership, problem solving skills and communication skills. Relevant certifications in electrical engineering, maintenance, or project management are desirable.
