This exciting opportunity is responsible for providing reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets. In coordination and full collaboration with the Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management COE, the Reliability Engineer is responsible for implementing a strategic asset management plan to integrate clients' existing systems including building automation, energy management, maintenance programs, and life-cycle asset management approach. Develops analysis methods to determine reliability of components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL's enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program.
Responsibilities: Works under general direction of Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management platform for instruction in deploying client's strategic asset management plan. Integrates data from BAS, automated fault detection diagnostic engines, maintenance programs, and capital planning processes to develop life-cycle analyses and recommendations for repair vs. replacement decisions. Conducts program and system/equipment audits on a periodic and as-needed basis focused on safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, cost savings, and energy conservation. Coordinates the use of other engineers, technicians, and third-party resources to accomplish the objective of cost-effective Asset Management & Reliability improvements. Responsible for ranking the criticality of the assets under their care and defining proactive maintenance approaches.
Experience: BS in an Engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical preferred. Five to 10 years' experience implementing RCM, CbM/PdM methods, operating building automation and energy management systems. Experience in critical/regulated environments preferred (data centers, laboratories, manufacturing environments, etc.).
Skills: Proven ability to read, comprehend and apply information from technical manuals. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data accurately.
Certifications & Licenses: Certified Reliability Leader or IAM Diploma is preferred.
