40 General Description: Open to taking a new direction in engineering? Enjoy looking into the process? I am currently keen to speak with engineers who would be open to looking into the world of reliability and provide services to clients in the FMCG industry. This includes activities such as asset list generation, criticality assessments, RCM studies, condition monitoring, and root cause analysis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to

further their reliability skills

or broaden their engineering knowledge from a

hands-off perspective . There will be

full training and development

provided throughout your career, ensuring you have the support to excel and grow within the role. The position operates

Monday to Friday, office hours , allowing for a work-life balance while contributing to impactful projects. The role requires flexibility to meet business demands, and training will be provided for any required skills. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Generate

PM tasks

for production assets using

RCM methodology . Conduct

FMEA

and

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

on failures to identify corrective actions. Perform

criticality assessments

to prioritize maintenance activities. Conduct

Condition Monitoring

where required (training available). Participate in

FOCUS Assessments

to drive continuous improvement in asset care. Engage with clients to ensure maintenance activities are non-disruptive to production. Ideal Candidate: This position is open to engineers who are looking to

expand their skillset

in the area of

reliability engineering

and are eager to apply engineering principles from a strategic and analytical perspective rather than a purely hands-on role. You will work closely with clients and internal teams, enhancing your problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Essential Qualifications: Electrically or mechanically qualified to

NVQ Level 3

or equivalent. Electrical or mechanical advanced apprenticeship. Desirable Experience: Proven experience in a

maintenance engineering role . Previous experience in

Reliability Engineering

roles. Familiarity with

RCM methodology

and reliability-based maintenance strategies. Essential Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the business. Ability to liaise with clients and ensure works are executed with minimal disruption to production. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A positive, professional attitude, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently. Process-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving. Desirable Skills: Presentation skills

for client-facing discussions. Proactive approach to identifying and solving reliability challenges. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
