Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician focuses on proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
What the role involves
- Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
- Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
- Supporting the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
- Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues.
- Carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites’ equipment to make sure it’s working safely.
- Working alongside senior colleagues, you’ll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks like painting and plumbing and will liaise with contractors if you need external expertise.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ IVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3/EAL Level 3 all specialized in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
