Religious Education Teacher (RE Teacher)
Tradewind recruitment are working with an outstanding secondary school based in Hounslow who are currently looking for a Religious Education Teacher (RE Teacher).
The school is looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long-term contract until July 2025. The school is willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person.
This position is full-time but the school is open to part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will match outer London MPS/UPS.
The school has available parking spaces.
Responsibilities:
Offer strong teacher subject and pedagogical knowledge.
Engage in helping students develop knowledge and understanding of religion.
Enable life-long skill development and practical skill application.
Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe environment while challenging students to reach their full potential.
Embrace and support the ethos of both boarding and day school life.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A relevant degree.
Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Approachable and encouraging.
