REMEDIAL ELECTRICIAN Full time Monday to Friday COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is the UK’s leading provider of lightning and surge protection services. They specialise in design, installation, and commissioning of bespoke systems, as well as providing testing and inspections, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. They also deliver specialist power earthing solutions to clients in all sectors. The other main area of expertise is electrical testing, encompassing fixed wire and portable appliance testing. Due to continued success, they are now recruiting for a Remedial Electrician covering sites throughout Woking and the surrounding areas. JOB PURPOSE Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remedial Electrician to join their team covering the Woking area. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting remedial repairs and upgrades in various commercial and industrial settings. JOB SPECIFICATION Conduct electrical remedial works in commercial and industrial environments. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices. Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE A minimum of 3 years of experience. City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing. NVQ Level 3. 18th Edition. In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes. Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location). SALARY/BENEFITS 41k Basic salary. Overtime and premiums for unsocial working hours (After 19:00 before 07:00). Fully expenses company van.
