Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. What you'll be doing This role will include regular visits to our HMP and secondary care services in the North East. There will also be occasional travel to High Wycombe to assist with kit builds/deliveries and kit disposals. On top of this, there will also be times when support cover and project tasks will be required at our Secondary Care and HMP sites in other parts of the South and North of England. Conduct on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of hardware components and software issues in a prison environment. Maintain accurate records of hardware incidents, solutions, and preventive measures. Provide timely and effective communication to clients and stakeholders regarding issue resolution progress. Adhere to security protocols and regulations governing correctional facilities. What we’ll look for in you Proven experience in hardware break-fix solutions, preferably in challenging environments. Technical proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a secure and controlled setting. Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of security protocols and compliance requirements in prison facilities is a plus. Requirements Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.). Enhanced DBS and prison vetting which we will facilitate. Flexibility to work within a prison environment and adhere to strict security measures. Occasional travel as needed.
