We require the candidate to have at least 1 year of experience in primary care and have completed their CPPE Pathway. Main duties of the job

To undertake medicine reconciliations of patient records/prescribing in line with the practice protocols. Update patient records, support medicine reviews and synchronization for groups of patients, i.e., care homes, and help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols. You will carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts. In recognition of the important role pharmacy technicians can play in general practice, we are seeking a professional who can support patients to get the most from their medicines, contributing to Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs) in collaboration with the clinical pharmacist and utilizing their skills and knowledge around acute and repeat prescribing processes to improve patients' safe use of medicines and contribute toward the management of patients on site. We are currently seeking a remote registered Pharmacy Technician to work in General Practice in Durham. The Skills

To join our team, you will have a minimum of 6 months experience of working in a clinical practice as a registered pharmacy technician. You will have general practice experience, working as a Pharmacy Technician. You will have a relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered, and you will be a highly focused and motivated individual. Person Specification

Experience within a GP Experience working with System 1 or Emis Disclosure and Barring Service Check
