Remote Registered Pharmacy Technician Location:
General Practice in Durham The Role: Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient records/prescribing in line with practice protocols. Update patient records, support medicine reviews, and synchronization for groups of patients (e.g., care homes). Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching medications to agreed and approved protocols. Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts. Contribute to Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs) in collaboration with the clinical pharmacist. Support patients in the safe use of medicines and improve management of patients on-site. The Skills: Minimum of 6 months experience working in a clinical practice as a registered pharmacy technician. General practice experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Relevant degree/qualification demonstrating registration. Highly focused and motivated individual.
