Xylem is seeking an installation engineer to join our rental team based out of our Nottingham facility to carry out the installation of WSS (rental focused) equipment with a focus in the Midlands and surrounding areas. The Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation & commissioning of pumping & treatment equipment. The role covers Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, as well as being part of an on-call rota. Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

Supporting the Rental Team with temporary installation, repair and refurbishment of submersible and surface-mounted pumping equipment, sewage systems & treatment plants. As part of a team and lone working, supporting a reactive type of work that requires the successful candidate to be quick thinking & adaptable. Isolate, dismantle and inspect pumping & treatment equipment. Working in an outdoor environment in different weather conditions daily. Work in a confined space environment. Driving a company vehicle to the standard required by Xylem Water Solution UK Ltd. To undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the job. Standard hours of work are 39 per week; however, a totally flexible working attitude is necessary to meet the client and business needs. In addition, evening & weekend on-call duties will be necessary on a rotating basis. Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

Level 2/3 NVQ mechanical or equivalent. Proven experience in pump & water treatment desirable. Good knowledge of pumps (electric and diesel) and water treatment (DAF). Previous experience working with generators & temporary treatment plants. A flexible, can-do attitude to suit the role. Full UK driving licence. What we offer:
