Overview

Responsible for effectively selling Planned Maintenance contracts for generator sets and fire pumps in the Industrial, Commercial, Medical, Higher Education, Government/Municipal markets, as well as other markets as assigned in a specific AOR (Area of Responsibility) to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth for Atlantic Detroit Diesel-Allison (ADDA). Responsibilities

Use a consultative sales approach to sell Planned Maintenance contracts for emergency generators and fire pumps. Analyze customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best support their operation. Establish and develop business opportunities using social and networking relationships within the territory to generate new planned maintenance business. Develop and expand market presence for ADDA in the Boston and surrounding area to maintain ADDA’s reputation as the preferred OEM service provider. Develop and maintain a database on prospective customers and existing accounts, including key contact information and accurate equipment portfolio. Achieve sales goals and forecasts, as established by the department and the organization. Help branch identify and resolve customer concerns, issues, or complaints. Represent ADDA at sales and trade meetings, while staying abreast of current market conditions, business trends, and industry developments. Conduct all business transactions in an ethical and professional manner. Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Graduate or GED required. Experience in the power generation industry or outside sales is preferred. Willing to accept recent college graduates in lieu of sales or power generation experience and willing to train. Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely. Ability to get along and work well with a variety of personalities and individuals. Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers. Being self-motivated, responsible, dependable, and trustworthy. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Experience with Salesforce highly desirable. Compensation: Generous Salary along with Commission, Mileage Reimbursement, and Car Allowance.
