We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude and the ability to liaise with a wide variety of people to strengthen the administrative side of our repairs and maintenance team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the team by handling routine administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service. Our repairs and maintenance team work as one with our partnering contractor Equans to repair the councils housing stock in the borough and renovate properties when they become vacant. We will support you in developing your skills so that you can take ownership and responsibility in performing clerical duties including monitoring invoices, data entry, and managing correspondence related to repair and maintenance activities. With an understanding of the importance of delivering quality seamless services and working as part of a team, you will excel in this role if you have had previous administrative experience within a customer service-based environment and you have worked in a solution-focused role, along with: Good understanding of clerical and administrative functions Familiarisation with GDPR regulations Digitally adept and able to embrace new technology and quality checks Excellent organisational skills Some knowledge of construction and repairs Processing of contractor variation orders and contractor invoices Promoting partnership working and contractor relations Ability to understand, interpret and work to policies and procedures We have an extensive benefits package including flexible working, a non-contributory health scheme, Local Government pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, discounted gym membership, and payment of professional fees (where applicable).
