Our client is a vibrant, forward-thinking housing association with ambitious plans. Liaise and visit residents to inspect, providing guidance, specifying, and prioritising works, where required. Accurately undertake inspections across all settle owned properties, internally, externally, and in common areas. Work with service controllers to ensure works are classified and raised based on defined priorities. Oversee works, liaising with contractors (internal or external) ensuring adherence to health and safety, time, and cost processes. Have a good understanding of HHSRS. Have a strong understanding of building components and potentially a trade background. Be familiar with the Decent Homes standard guidelines. Be flexible to support different types of inspections such as damp, mould, and condensation reports, mutual exchanges, post inspections, etc. Skills and experience IT skills suitable to complete forms and communicate instructions. Familiarity with handheld data capture devices. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, bringing enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’ attitude. The ability to undertake surveys from day one. A good understanding of building elements and why they fail. A good understanding of why damp, mould, and condensation occur, and solutions required to remedy them.
