The Role Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for a Repairs Supervisor to join our team on our brand new Cambridge Housing Society contract. This is a full time, permanent position and we are looking for an experienced leader with exceptional people management skills. The Customer Our contract with Cambridge Housing Society is brand new and launching on April 1st. This will be a long term partnership with houses covering the whole of Cambridgeshire, from Wisbech down to Haverhill, although primarily situated in central Cambridge. There are nearly 3,000 properties, mostly houses and flats, and we will be looking after their Repairs, Voids, Cyclical Works and Planned workstreams. Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of tradespeople to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, meeting deadlines and achieving first-time success. Collaborate with various departments and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels to deliver exceptional service. Motivate, coach, and retain skilled tradespeople, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Develop and implement a method for accurately assessing and categorising the competency levels of all team members. Oversee the Health & Safety performance of contractors, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Manage the selection, recruitment, and ongoing performance of tradespeople, ensuring the team consistently meets company standards. What You Will Need Essential Criteria:

Experience of supervising teams Excellent communication skills Excellent leadership skills Excellent dispute resolution skills Good understanding of building maintenance Full UK driving licence (6 points max)
