Your new company This global business is recruiting a strong Technical Accountant for a period of 6 - 8 months. Your new role You will ensure the timely and accurate recording of all accounting transactions and manage the monthly close process, including the preparation of financial statements. You will be responsible for meeting all financial reporting deadlines, preparing and posting journal entries, and substantiating financial transactions through document audits. Additionally, you will review and prepare monthly account reconciliations, reconcile discrepancies promptly, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial schedules and reports. This role also involves supporting financial and tax audits, delivering team performance in line with agreed KPIs, and identifying opportunities for standardising and improving processes to implement those improvements. What you'll need to succeed You will be an ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified Accountant with experience in complex organisational structures and exposure to IFRS. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with Pivot Tables and Formulas, and have experience with ERP/Accounting Systems. The role requires the ability to manage large volumes of data, strong planning and organisational skills, and a deadline-oriented mindset. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively within a team.
