The Reporting & Insights Manager is responsible for coordinating various quantitative and qualitative inputs from across the department and the wider business to deliver valuable insights. This role requires a strong commercial understanding of the UK automotive industry, along with the ability to process complex data and provide informed commentary to guide senior management decisions. The Reporting & Insights Manager will continuously improve HMUK reporting processes to enhance insight quality, efficiency, and speed, while eliminating any duplication. They must be adept at managing multiple requests, prioritising outputs to meet tight deadlines, and fostering strong communication and collaboration across the UK business, European and Korean operations. Additionally, they will oversee a small team, ensuring their development and motivation to maintain high performance. Key Responsibilities Responsible for monthly planning cycle, defining monthly model and channel objectives, retail, wholesale and orders. Chair monthly planning meetings to agree operational plan. Management of defined reporting KPIs identifying trends and working cross-functionally to address performance issues and opportunities. Co-ordinate output of regular daily/monthly/reporting requirements (e.g. Stock, SMMT, Sisense, Order Take etc). Oversee compilation of regular and ad-hoc presentations representing Hyundai UK positively at senior management and board level. Management and administration of VETS (Vehicle Emissions Trading Scheme) ensuring compliance against scheme requirements and reporting performance. Define key strategies to improve overall operation of the team performance, reducing duplication and improving efficiencies. Work cross-functionally to proactively provide support and input across the wider business. Person Specification Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills Highly numerate with good PC skills and advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills Understanding of market and planning principles Exceptional attention to detail Flexibility to adapt to a wide scope of activities Strong communicator Team player with strong interpersonal skills Motor industry experience Capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy Ability to take complex issues and concepts and represent them in a simple visual way Experienced people manager.
