The Vacancy The incoming hire will produce equity research reports about Investment Trusts for external use, with a particular focus on Infrastructure and Renewable Energy. The successful applicant will bring Infrastructure/Renewables analyst experience, and will be comfortable sharing views with clients, working closely with the wider Investment Trust team, including Sales and Trading. This is a dynamic role that would suit a numerate, analytical individual capable of writing high-quality reports, in addition to strong client-facing skills, well-suited to building relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Investment Trusts are UK-listed closed-end funds; Winterflood's Research team has c.250 names under coverage, with an aggregate market cap of c.£230bn. Key Responsibilities

Lead the team's coverage of Infrastructure and Renewable Energy funds. Attend meetings with fund managers and produce equity research reports on individual investment trusts and thematic developments. Summarise daily sector newsflow, providing analysis where relevant, for our client Daily Briefing and internal stakeholders. Produce monthly sector reports and datasheets covering Infrastructure and Renewable Energy Infrastructure. Meet with Research clients to discuss and provide investment views as well as answer client queries. Represent Winterflood Research at conferences and in media appearances. Assist the Research team and the wider Investment Trust team with a range of administrative duties, as needed. Required Skills and Knowledge Essential:

At least 4 years' analyst experience, including in Infrastructure/Renewable Energy. Excellent academic background; strong numeracy and literacy with the ability to interpret data and write fluently and succinctly. Ability to multi-task, often under time pressure. Presentation and client interaction skills. Inquisitive nature, intellectual curiosity, critical thinker. Demonstrable interest in global markets, macro-economics and portfolio management. Strong literacy skills and clear motivation to write equity research reports. Competency in MS Excel. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, 'can do' attitude. Excellent attention to detail and disciplined organisation of work. Desired Skills and Experience

University degree or equivalent. Knowledge or close awareness of the Investment Trust sector. Knowledge of Morningstar, Bloomberg and/or Refinitiv functionality. Experience in building/maintaining financial models. Advanced Excel user (VBA) or programming languages. Benefits
