Are you a Research and Development Engineer with experience in a highly regulated manufacturing industry? Would you like the opportunity to join a dynamic team that excels at transforming innovative ideas into reality? Responsibilities of the Research and Development Engineer Generate 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings Perform a variety of design processes in areas such as aerodynamics, thermodynamics & fluid mechanics, mechanical systems and mechanisms Support the development & qualification of new technology such as sensors, controllers, pumps, coatings, materials etc. Contribute to the creation of compliance documents such as test reports, design/analysis reports, safety assessments etc. Provide support for legacy programs to all stakeholders (manufacturing, operators, OEM’s) Development of in-house software and engineering tools that can be demonstrated to reduce costs, increase quality or expand existing capability Assist practical work – building prototypes, machines, assembling test rigs etc. Experience required for the Research and Development Engineer Undergraduate Engineering Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering Data analysis software such as Matlab Testing and verification experience Self-motivated with an ability to problem solve The successful Research and Development Engineer will be offered the opportunity to join a very well-established, growing organisation.
