SRG are looking for an R&D Scientist to work with a multinational biotechnology company based in Slough. Whether you are an early career scientist with experience in cell culture and in vivo assays, or your skills come from academia, this role is a perfect opportunity to learn more about the biotechnology industry and contribute to a truly global company.
As an R&D Scientist, you would be responsible for supporting ambr15 and cell culture assays to support the development of new treatments, writing, planning and executing studies, as well as maintaining GLP and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Recording data in electronic notebook
Write study plan and execute experiments
Buffer and medium preparation, filtration and storage
Perform and develop nonstandard assay and procedure for project work
Perform CHO cell culture in deep well plate, shake flask, roller bottles, ambr250 vessel, bioreactor up to 5 litres.
Daily monitoring of culture station for cell growth, viability, metabolites and various process parameters
Lab chores as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
BSc, MSc or higher degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, biomedical sciences or related subject.
Experience with Ambr15, cell culture or bioreactors would be desirable.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
