R&D Technician . This person will ensure the efficient preparation of products for internal tastings, formal customer presentations, and ongoing development work in line with customer requirements, within budgets and deadlines to successfully secure new business and retain and develop existing business. Responsibilities Supporting Food Technologists with recipe preparation and cooking. Accurately weighing and mixing recipe formulations. Ensuring documentation is completed to ensure full traceability of ingredients within the department. Developing a positive working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders. Daily cleaning tasks to ensure that the labs and kitchens are maintained to a high-level hygiene standard. This role will involve lifting weights of up to 25Kg. To provide training where applicable to NWF Personnel. To undertake such training as is viewed as necessary by the Company to improve personal performance or to meet the overall business objectives. The above duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive. You will be required, as directed by your line manager, to accept changes in responsibility or duties within the department or other areas of the plant, subject to suitable knowledge or training. Location & Hours of Work This is a position based at the UK and European Head Office in Ossett, working a basic 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday. Seniority Level
