We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Chemical, Materials and Biological Engineering, University of Sheffield for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate with experience in (bio)process engineering, biotechnology or a related discipline. In this role, the Research Associate will develop cutting-edge batch and continuous platform processes for linear and circular RNAs encoding multiple vaccine antigens.

We are looking for independent researchers who have demonstrated their ability to perform and ideally publish high-quality research. You will possess a PhD or equivalent research experience in (bio)chemical engineering, (bio)process engineering, biotechnology, chemistry or a related discipline. Experimental manufacturing process development skills or similar wet-lab skills, strong communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, self-drive, problem-solving skills, curiosity, and research excellence are essential.
