You’ll join our Manufacturing capability group which focuses on transforming composite ideas into manufacturing reality by delivering tailored solutions to customers' requirements. You will provide engineering expertise and technical direction on exciting projects across a range of industries. You'll lead the development of novel technology, processes and create demonstrators to showcase NCC’s manufacturing capability and continuously seek to push the boundaries of what is possible with composites. Your hands-on experience in composite manufacturing processes, ability to produce high quality technical documentation and knowledge of product lifecycles will provide a foundation for a range of new responsibilities, from technical excellence to customer focus. So, what are we looking for? You’ll be an experienced engineer specialising in resin infusion/resin transfer moulding and have or are working towards a professional accreditation such as CEng. At least 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment. Additional experience of working in an R&D environment and/or within the Aerospace sector would be desirable. Experience of investigating and researching new technologies, processes and products with sound theoretical knowledge of composite materials and a range of manufacturing processes. Proven track record of technical leadership on complex multi-disciplinary projects. You take an analytical approach to your work with the ability to proactively think outside of the box to independently solve complex manufacturing problems. You can effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. What do we offer in return?
