We have an exciting opportunity for a

Research Laboratory Floor Technician

to join the Scientific Facilities team in the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute. CSCI is a world-leading centre for stem cell research based in the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. We are a friendly team who provide support and assistance to researchers and ensure the smooth running of CSCI laboratories. We are looking for someone who enjoys working cooperatively, likes helping others, and has good organisational skills. Responsibilities: Maintain communal laboratory areas and core equipment. Liaise with research groups to organise servicing impacting their work. Contribute towards health and safety management, providing training to researchers, writing risk assessments, and ensuring safety procedures are observed. Serve as a key point of contact for staff, students, and visitors. Work independently, prioritising tasks and managing your own time. Qualifications: Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a science subject. Previous experience in a research laboratory environment and using a range of lab equipment is essential. Aware of health and safety protocols. This is a full-time role of 36.5 hours per week and will start on 3rd March 2025. Maternity cover:
