Research Manager, 6 Months' Fixed Term Contract, London Do you thrive on turning data into actionable insights? We're looking for a committed and outcome-focused Research Manager to join our team and assist in directing the growth of our organisation. In this role, you'll work closely with product owners, regulators, and customers to uncover opportunities and risks, affect strategic decisions, and build positive relationships. You will have an important role in delivering high-quality analysis, written and verbal communication, and insightful presentations that contribute to innovation and customer success. Key Accountabilities Manage research elements of our insights programme, with end to end join up to ensure risks and opportunities identified are actioned when required. This is to support us to consistently identify and manage ecosystem risks and opportunities. Ensure that the data to inform key KPIs – Customer satisfaction net promoter score and end-user satisfaction, are managed to continually inform our priorities. Work across the team to understand customer and end-user needs and convert this to action where appropriate. Share industry insights across the Pay.UK landscape by providing high quality analysis which will inform product and strategy focus. Manage the research delivery plan to ensure priority work can be supported and allow for non-planned work to be considered and resourced quickly and efficiently. Identify and manage appropriate market and emerging risks as a key part of your role. Enable necessary knowledge transfer, identify and self-sort learning and development support where required. Proudly and credibly represent Pay.UK at industry events, including speaking opportunities. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Deep understanding of the financial services and the payments industry. Experience with economic and market analysis: able to digest and understand complex data analyses. Understanding of Research and Insight delivery. Market place drivers and opportunities; understanding the market we operate in and being able to identify the “so what” for our company. Proficient communication skills to be able to promote an idea to an outcome. Advanced analytical skills, able to identify key themes and communicate relevant insights that aid decisions. Ability to manage across a matrix and get the most from our colleagues. Effective stakeholder engagement and management (internal/external).
