There is also a second clinical team based in Edinburgh which you will work closely with throughout the project. The post will involve ascertaining, consenting, testing, and managing research patients. Previous clinical research experience, training, and skills in consenting and venepuncture are essential. A background in pain research or in pain clinics would be beneficial, as would experience of wearable devices and sensory/pain testing; however, further training can be offered to the right candidate.
