This post will predominantly be based at the RVI working in trauma research, but there may be a need for cross-site and cross-specialty working.
Our service runs Monday to Friday, and can involve early starts and occasional late finishes, however there are no weekend or on-call commitments.

Under the direction of the orthopaedic research coordinator, to be responsible for the day-to-day running of specified clinical trials involving orthopaedic patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. This will include the recruitment, assessment and ongoing follow-up of patients for specific trials.

Substantial post registration experience as a specialist physiotherapist within an NHS musculoskeletal or orthopaedic setting Evidence of research activity

Degree or Equivalent Diploma in Physiotherapy State Registered with Health and Care Professions Council Evidence of formal post-graduate courses and CPD
Desirable
Master's degree or willing to undertake qualification in health / research related topic Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
