Research Scientist – NLP / Natural Language Processing / PhD / Machine Learning / Large Language Models / LLMs
- Do you hold a PhD in Machine Learning/NLP or a related field?
- 2+ years of research experience in academia or industry focused on Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning
- Publications in ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, EACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, or ICML?
- Do you want to work with one of the worlds most well known tech/telecoms companies?
We are searching for an NLP Research Scientists to join a globally known company in London on a permanent basis
Please note, this is 100% onsite role with zero flex for hybrid/remote
The role is mostly focused on leading and participating in cutting-edge research projects, building benchmarks/baselines using public datasets, training LLMs on novel, applicable and practical tasks and will offer the chance to publish research papers at top-tier NLP/ML/AI conferences and journals (amongst numerous other tasks)

What do we look for?
- PhD degree in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, or related areas.
- Have a strong research track record with publications in top-tier NLP/ML conferences including ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, EACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and top-tier journals.
- Be result-driven with good communication skills; be able to work efficiently in a multi-cultural, multi-site, multi-language and changing environment.
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team of research and technical experts.
Any of the following will be considered a plus:
- 2+ years of experience working on research projects in either academia or industry focused around Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning topics.
- Have very good knowledge of existing LLMs and evaluation frameworks, including experience with the most recent foundational language models
