Based at the High Temperature Research Centre, Ansty, the post holder will undertake activities that support one of the centre’s key research projects for the year working alongside laboratory and research staff. The primary responsibilities of the role will be collecting technical data, generating reports, and result analysis. Provide support to project Research Fellows and Research Engineers where required.

Main Responsibilities:

Collation of trial data - Gather and summarise agreed data recorded during manufacturing trials. This can include dimensional data, yield information, defect data, photographs, and output from material testing. Conduct additional analysis of trial data using methods developed by Research Fellows and Research Engineers. Data reporting and analysis – Microsoft package summaries of data collected. Python scripted tools developed by Researchers. HTRC and H&S culture embedded. All HTRC processes and policies documented and adhered to.

Person Specification Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Pragmatic hands-on approach to problem solving with a can-do attitude. Actively promotes and works towards maintaining a clean and tidy work environment. Attention to detail with an ability to deliver work to required standards. Able to deliver to tight timescales. Basic computer and Microsoft office use for reporting of technical information.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience Python Experience working in a R&D environment. STEM based education. Full UK driving license.
