Skills and experience: The ideal candidate should have significant experience in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, and mouse models of cancer. Experience in metabolism, epigenetics, and cancer therapeutics will be an advantage. The responsibilities include mouse handling and colony management, administration of therapeutic agents to mice, surgical procedures, animal imaging, assessing drug efficacy in 2D cultured cells or 3D organoids derived from mice or patients, and performing mechanistic experiments. Previous mouse handling experience is a must. Candidates without previous animal experience will not be considered. In addition, the candidate should have strong organizational skills and experience in using and maintaining data spreadsheets. We require a minimum of 2 years commitment to the position.
