Whilst the post is initially available until 31st March 2026, it is anticipated, in line with annual Housing Support Grant funding conditions and the demands of the Housing and Support Service, that a continuation of a further contract period following this date is likely to remain.
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our Homeless Assessment and Support Team.
You will provide high quality, person-centred, trauma informed, multi-agency, face-to-face support to homeless clients placed in Temporary Accommodation provision across Rhondda Cynon Taff. You will ensure that clients receive appropriate and continuous assessment of their needs and are supported to engage fully in the housing support and move on process.
You will have experience of working with homeless individuals, completing face-to-face support and undertaking risk assessments. An understanding of the needs of vulnerable people, and the causes of homelessness is essential.
