Social Housing About Us: We are a leading social housing maintenance contractor seeking a motivated Resident Liaison Officer to join our team in Thurrock, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least a year of experience as a Resident Liaison Officer to contribute to our projects and help ensure their success. Key Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer:

Engaging with residents and understanding the needs of the community to deliver a personal service. Providing a friendly courteous service in connection with residents. Supporting, communicating, and advising the site team. Living the company values being fair, forward-thinking, accountable, customer-focused, open, transparent, proud, and passionate, so that the highest standards of customer care can be achieved. Committing to diversity and inclusion of all. Complying fully with the Company Code of Conduct, health and safety requirements, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures. Undertaking resident profiling to identify individual needs and tailor our service. Implementing our Customer Journey process to guide residents to manage expectations, maximize satisfaction, and explain works, give notices, write newsletters, etc. Making access arrangements mutually convenient with residents. Attending evening/weekend appointments where necessary. Organizing community events. Managing complaints/compliments and dealing with all feedback. Keeping a complaints log with remedial actions and reporting weekly to the client. Leading aftercare/handover service. Requirements of the Resident Liaison Officer:

1+ year of experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (Social Housing). Strong communication skills and empathy. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent time management. People management skills. Negotiation skills. Self-motivated. High levels of accuracy. The ability to think strategically. Presentation skills. Able to work on own initiative.
