Are you an experienced Resident Liaison Officer and passionate about the affordable housing sector? Pettigrew Recruitment Group is delighted to showcase this exciting opportunity for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join a growing business specializing in the refurbishment of social housing stock across Scotland. Following a successful tender process, they are looking to hire a new member of staff to oversee a new project in Perth, due to commence early 2025. Our client is committed to transforming communities and improving the lives of local people. As a result of a recent contract award in Perth, they are looking to add a Resident Liaison Officer to their site team to deliver this flagship refurbishment programme of works. As Tenant Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for working with residents regarding the works being completed to their homes, ensuring smooth communication links between tenants and contractors, and ultimately managing the tenant's experience through this period of improvement. Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out Customer Care Introduction calls and building rapport from the outset of the project. Visiting and liaising with customers to ensure access is available to site teams, ensuring completion of works to the required timescales. Attending & chairing (as required) weekly construction meetings. Regular site visits to carry out spot checks of the properties in build to inspect the quality of construction, review build progress, and maintain good working relationships. Managing your own diary to ensure all properties are inspected in line with predicted completion dates. To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working in housing, whether this be local authority or housing association, and knowledge of working with tenanted properties. Client-facing exposure. The ability to deal with challenging conditions in a professional and calm manner. The ability to communicate in a clear and confident manner.
