Residential Counselor
to provide service in Bristow, VA.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Responsible for supervision of the residents. Confirm census count received from prior on-duty staff before assuming floor responsibilities. Maintain shift coverage until the next shift is securely in position. Confirm status and location of assigned residents. Completely and accurately document any required forms on the daily log prior to the ending shift. Perform waive testing on residents after home visits, AWOL, and as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Human Services is required OR actively, continuously pursuing the degree and able to provide evidence of such; OR High School Diploma or General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.) and six months experience working with children AND Enroll and successfully complete assigned training and Certification Program for development in our milieu of care.
