We are looking to recruit full-time, part-time, and waking night Residential Care Workers for our Children’s Homes for young people who present social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. You must be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to caring for young people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles. You must be able to manage challenging behaviour, as well as care for and support young people to take part in a wide range of activities, attend education, and engage positively in the community in which they live. There is a requirement to work flexible hours to cover a set rota, which will include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will be required to sleep in when rostered to do so. Salary will depend on experience, qualifications, and successfully completing a probation period. In addition to the salary, the sleep-in pay will be £60 per night.
