The role requires you to have good communication skills and to be able to engage with young people, parents/carers, and professionals. At least 12 months relevant child care experience in a paid or voluntary capacity is essential, and NVQ 3 in Residential Care (GSCC recognised), or the ability to work towards NVQ3 is required. The post is subject to enhanced hours and sleep in payments.
