Our children and young people in all our homes need care, love, nurture and guidance to help them on the route they take in life, and to help them to work through the difficulties they may have experienced or are currently experiencing. The children need committed and dependable individuals who will go above and beyond to safeguard them, and promote their emotional health and wellbeing. There are real opportunities for your personal and professional development and our training offer in Rochdale is second to none, including completing the Therapeutic Parenting with PACE training programme, which is the foundation of our ‘Model of Care’. You must be over 21 years of age and have at least 1 year’s experience working with Children and Young People. It is preferable that you are qualified to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Working with Children and Young People or equivalent, but don’t worry if you don’t, as we will support you to obtain this qualification as part of your ongoing training and development. Casual User Car Allowance is payable. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check against child workforce.
