About the role: The working day can be very unpredictable and you could find yourself doing a variation of duties such as: Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments. Being flexible, reliable, and adaptable while helping our young people make positive choices and proactively supporting colleagues in their development through leading by example. Working on a rota basis plus sleep ins depending on the size of the home. Meeting the needs of our Children and Young People in line with OFSTED regulations. Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

Ability to assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose. Experience leading a team in Residential Care. Qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Responsibility for personal development and progress of individual training needs. Ability to carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and the Deputy Manager. Ability to deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager. A Full UK driving licence is required due to the location and nature of the role. What we can offer:

Guaranteed opportunity to be enrolled onto an NVQ Children and Young people’s workforce which is a national recognised qualification within the industry and profession of children’s residential services, worth over £6k and fully funded by Cambian Group to support you in progressing your career. We are unable to offer sponsorship. Requirements for an Enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice.
