Residential Conveyancing – New Build Fee Earner – Chesterfield

Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner (Chesterfield, Derbyshire) The role involves marketing and developing the services of the busy Residential Department and working as part of a larger team, managing your own caseload while supporting the head of the team on the Team’s case files using a CMS system across the conveyancing spectrum. You will need to bring: Previous “all round” residential conveyancing experience (minimum 2+ years), ideally gained within a fast-moving residential department, with New Build experience. Excellent communication and IT skills, especially client-facing, with an enthusiastic can-do attitude. Ability to deal with a mixed caseload including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, and new builds - freehold and leasehold - and registered and unregistered titles. Experience with shared ownership leases, right to buys, assents, severances of joint tenancies, and general property matters. Networking ability with confidence to deal with third-party suppliers/advisors, estate agents, and developers. Team working and team supervision skills combined with a personal ‘results’ focus.
