Residential Conveyancing Paralegal DUTIES

(Including but not limited to the following) As a paralegal, you will assist senior fee earners with the profitable management of their caseload whilst practicing the highest codes of professional conduct and customer service. Main duties include but are not limited to: To assist the Residential Conveyancing department generally as and when required. Provide support to senior fee earners with their daily workload, under supervision. To deal wherever possible with routine client and third-party enquirers. At all times to exercise high standards of client care in a professional manner. To prepare correspondence and documents (which may include transcribing digital dictation). To administer filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the office procedures. To prepare mail and enclosures for despatch by post/email or fax. To obtain information from local authorities and other organisations. Providing quotes on new instructions. Managing relationships with clients, solicitors and estate agents. Setting up new client ledgers, opening/closing files and case management administration. Audio typing various dictated correspondence including emails, letters and attendance notes. Drafting contracts on a sale, per instructions/supervision from the Fee Earner. Requesting HMLR documents via the portal and submitting HMLR applications. Payment of Stamp Duty. Applying for searches. Drafting completion statements. Setting up exchanges and completions. To ensure the confidentiality of all the Firm’s and clients’ documentation and information. Complying with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors. Ensuring good working relationships with external institutions and organisations. Any ad hoc duties required. SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES Strong attention to detail. Numerate. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Efficient and well organised. Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and use own initiative. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Self-motivated. Fully computer literate. In addition, you will gain valuable experience along your legal career by working closely with and assisting the fee earners in their case work. Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent Pay:

£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift. Monday to Friday. Ability to commute/relocate: Windsor: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Work Location:
