You will be responsible for preparing correspondence, drafting legal documents, and managing case files. Your role will involve handling client communications, scheduling appointments, and liaising with estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders. You will assist with Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions, and document management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines. Additionally, you will produce legal documents, invoices, attendance notes, and meeting minutes while also handling audio transcription, copy typing, filing, and photocopying. You will prepare court bundles using Bundledocs and communicate effectively with clients and Barristers. As part of your professional development, you will also participate in training and refresher courses as required. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
You will have at least three years of experience as a Legal Secretary in a Conveyancing department, with strong administrative and organisational skills. Proficiency in case management systems, audio typing, and Microsoft Office is essential, along with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and the confidence to engage with clients are key to success in this role.
