The candidate: This role is ideal for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 2+ years PQE. You will handle your own caseload, consisting of a range of residential property matters including freehold, leasehold, sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages. Key Responsibilities: Handle a diverse caseload, managing all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, equity transfers, new builds, and re-mortgages. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and best practices in residential conveyancing. Manage transactions from inception to completion, with a focus on precision, strong time management, and exceptional client care. Conduct thorough due diligence, identifying potential issues and advising clients on solutions to mitigate risk. Coordinate with mortgage lenders, estate agents, and surveyors to streamline the transaction process and address any challenges that may arise. Provide clients with clear, timely updates on case progression, responding promptly to inquiries to ensure a smooth client experience. Contribute to business development efforts by nurturing relationships with clients, colleagues, and referral partners, helping to drive new business and enhance the firm’s reputation.
