Children's Residential Care Worker £11.92 - £14.22 per hour (DoE) + £30 sleep rate (where required) Everything you do matters. Our Residential Care Workers are fundamental to the development of the young people in our homes. Our homes accommodate young people aged 8 to 18 from a variety of backgrounds and with varying levels of social, emotional, and mental health needs. The days can be long, but you’ll make a genuine difference to our young people daily. You’ll ensure minimum interruption to their lives and pack their days full of meaningful interactions. Your day involves making sure they are up and ready, whether for school or a morning at the park. It means ensuring the service feels like “home” - running the hoover around, helping with homework, or preparing dinner. Evenings and weekends are usually for fun, whether that’s playing video games, a board game, or a trip to see a movie. Yes, there is paperwork and planning, but supporting our young people is never boring. The days may be long, but time flies, and the work really matters. We will also fund NVQ 3-4-5 if you show the capability and desire.
