At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for a Residential Technical Manager to work in our Residential Technical team. You will be responsible for engaging and consulting with key specifiers across housebuilders, contractors, and architects to provide technical services and solutions.
The collaboration between framework partners and SGIS residential technical manager is a key function of the business to drive specification and product sales to develop growth within the residential sector.

This role is a field-based position covering North East England and Scotland.

Understanding of technical specification documents such as construction drawings and details Understanding of the construction process – especially understanding construction project delivery methods and associated decision-making influencers An ability to network, build relationships, and influence key stakeholders Knowledge & understanding of fire, structures & acoustic test reports What you will be doing:
Account based focusing on specification support by way of standardization specification and selecting products that achieve industry standards. Providing commercially and technically compliant system solutions. Meeting customer technical needs and assisting with specification to meet industry requirements. Identifying drylining and insulation opportunities to support value-added products and increase sales volume. To provide product and system specifications which will meet the business KPI’s to achieve system adherence and maintain close working relationship with specification partners. Provide on-site support to regional framework partners and subcontractors by way of construction detailing and use of project information packages. Identifying specification opportunities. Provide commercial support to residential partners by selecting the best value for money system and solutions which will support the business needs.
