Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Software Deployment Technician to join their Software Release Team to upgrade their 39,000 devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11 over the next year. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in deploying software packages using MECM / SCCM and providing technical support for MECM / SCCM deployments and application-related issues.
Key Responsibilities :
Configure software packages for deployment within MECM.
Provide ongoing administration within all MECM / SCCM environments.
Offer technical support and advice on MECM / SCCM deployments and application-related issues.
Collaborate with the software testing team to ensure smooth deployments.
Implement and maintain naming conventions and clean up existing configurations.
Requirements :
Recent relevant experience in implementing and deploying software packages using MECM / SCCM.
Strong knowledge of MECM / SCCM and its components.
Experience working with software testing teams and collaborating on deployment-related tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to be onsite at least once a week for on-site work. This will increase where there is a need to troubleshoot deployments.
Recent implementation experience with similar size upgrades.
