Manage Respiratory and general medical and elderly care patients throughout their stay and maintain a high standard of communication with patients and carers. This will be both in the dedicated Duupas Ward and in the general ward. Participate on daily ward rounds Participate in MDT meetings Work alongside therapists and nursing staff Active involvement in ensuring provision of high clinical quality care and contribution to audit cycle both in particular VTE and dementia assessment and record keeping. Participation in departmental audits. Maintaining patient safety through participation in handover meetings and Hospital at Night processes in line with Trust Policies and local specialty requirements Teaching and Training Responsibilities
