Full time
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Science Practitioner in respiratory and sleep physiology to become an integral part of the Respiratory and Sleep Physiology and Home ventilation (NIV) department at Surrey and Sussex Hospital NHS Trust. This is an exciting time to join the trust, as we are continually striving to improve the service and care we offer. The Respiratory and Sleep Physiology department is currently undergoing service evaluation and modernization to enhance patient care. As a Healthcare Science Practitioner in respiratory and sleep physiology, you will play a pivotal part in achieving this.

Primarily, you will be expected to perform routine lung function tests, sleep study tests, CPAP setup, and compliance checks on inpatients and outpatients with supervision from senior members of the department. You will need to support CPAP clinics both face-to-face and using non-patient facing methods.

We have a newly set up lung function and sleep site at Crawley Hospital, and rotation through this site and all other sites is essential.
