Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before? How we started: Back in 2013, our founder Dwayne D’Souza saw an opportunity to give people faster and more convenient access to medications using technology. We've grown rapidly since our inception, without any external funding whatsoever – achieving profitability through innovation and a highly disciplined approach to growth. Where we are now: We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Our 2023 global revenue was $80m, and we’re set to more than double this in 2024 as we look to surpass $200m and positively impact the daily lives of more people than ever before.

There’s never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX. Where we’re going: Over the next five years, you’ll support our goal to become a world-leading healthcare partner, deepening our customer relationships, expanding into new countries, and diversifying our product portfolio to treat more conditions. You’ll be part of helping more people access prescription treatments and, most importantly, making personalised care better, quicker and easier for everyone. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Responsible Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at our Leamington Spa Warehouse. Due to the success of our weight loss service in 2024, we are opening a second Pharmacy/Warehouse in the new year. This exciting opportunity will play a pivotal part in the continued success into 2025 and beyond. You will have the opportunity to lead and manage the pharmacy team in a large dispensing hub operation, overseeing a team of pharmacists, dispensary leads and pharmacy technicians with varying experience levels. As a Responsible Pharmacist at HeliosX, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of delivery within our pharmacy. This is a non-patient-facing position that focuses on clinical precision and operational excellence with an exciting opportunity to lead with impact, innovation, and contribute to a mission of transforming digital healthcare. This full-time position offers a salary starting from £55,000 per annum with a rolling schedule of 4 days on, and 4 days off. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for the supply of medicines. Oversee and maintain a robust and safe dispensing process and conduct regular audits of the dispensary. Act as the primary contact for pharmaceutical compliance and governance within the warehouse. Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical products and services to both the team and customers. Ensure clinical appropriateness, verifying correct strengths, dosages, and suitability based on patient-specific factors. Manage stock, ensuring the accuracy and security of controlled drugs. Train and support warehouse and pharmacy staff to uphold professional standards. Proactively identify potential risks within pharmacy operations and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure all operations comply with GPhC distance selling regulations and industry best practice guidance. Review patient cases and monitor medication usage. Ensure investigations are thoroughly documented and acted upon if issues arise. What We’re Looking For: 5+ Years GPhC-registered pharmacist with eligibility to act as a Responsible Pharmacist. 2+ years experience in a leadership position. Strong understanding of UK pharmacy laws and regulations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a dispensary or online pharmacy environment is an advantage. Why work with us? At HeliosX, we want to improve healthcare for everyone, and to do this we need a team of brilliant people who share that ambition. We are currently a diverse team of engineers, scientists, clinical researchers, physicians, pharmacists, marketeers, and customer care specialists committed to our mission - but we need more talented folks to join us, if we want to achieve our global ambitions! Aside from working with our all-star team, here are the other benefits of coming on board: Generous equity allocations with significant upside potential. 25 days holiday plus UK Bank Holidays (excluding two per year). Private health insurance, along with extra dental and eye care cover. Enhanced parental leave. Cycle-to-work Scheme. Electric Car Scheme. Free Dermatica and MedExpress products every month, as well as family discounts. Home office allowance. Access to a Headspace subscription, discounted gym memberships, and a learning and development budget (alongside a free Kindle and audible subscription). Salary Banding Apply for this job
